Learn from the Experts: Grass Class

From rice and corn to lawns, whether we eat them or mow them, grasses are all around us. They were a major component of native woodlands and prairies. Taxonomy, morphology and ecology of grasses, with an emphasis on identification of the local species, will be featured. Both indoor instruction and a field session included. Dress for the weather. Bring a hand lens if possible. Class for ages 18+.
