North High Schools Homecoming Parade along Main Street

The 2010 St. Charles North High School Homecoming Parade will start at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17. It begins at the intersection of East Main Street and Second Avenue and will run to Sixth Street.

Two street closings are in effect from 12:45 p.m. until about 1:45 p.m. during the parade. Those are Main Street (Route 64) from Seventh Street on the west die of the river to Fifth Avenue on the east and Second Street (Route 31) for the short time the parade cross it.

A detour will be posted utilizing State Street, Seventh Street, Illinois Street, Illinois Avenue and Fifth Avenue. Parking is restricted on the detour route. Motorists are urged to use care and strongly encouraged to find alternate routes.
