St. Charles North Drama Presents Spring Musical: THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD

The St. Charles North High School Drama Department will
present their Spring Musical TheMystery of Edwin Drood for four performances, April 26, 27, & 28 at 7:30 and April 29 at 2PM.  All shows will be staged in the SCN Auditorium on the St. Charles North High School Campus, 255 Red Gate Rd., St. Charles.

The Mystery of Edwin Drood is a wildly warm-hearted theatrical experience that kicks off when the Music Hall Royale (a hilariously loony Victorian musical troupe) "puts on" its rendition of an
unfinished Dickens mystery. Our title character, Edwin Drood, disappears mysteriously one stormy Christmas Eve-but has Edwin Drood been murdered? And if so, then whodunnit? Musical numbers include, Perfect Strangers, Both Sides of the Coin, Don't Quit While You're Ahead and Moonfall. The giddy
playfullness of this play-within-a-play draws the audience toward one of DROOD'S most talked-about features, which allows the audience to vote on the
solution as prelude to the most unusual and hilarious finale!

North’s musical production, directed by Dale Morgan, has 40 students cast in the show and with all of the students working on tech and playing music in the orchestra pit, there will be close to 80 students participating in this fine event!  Please come see what should be their finest production ever!
