The Magic Flute For Over 50 Crowd

The Magic Flute gives opera-goers much to ponder and music that is a wondrous joy! Follow a young couple’s journey to adulthood, the search for universal truths, Masonic rituals and religious allegory.

Trip departs from the Geneva Metra Station (10:37 a.m. train). Have a quick lunch at the train station’s Food Court. Enjoy a pre-show informative lecture and first balcony seats for the performance.

The performance is in German with English translation projected above the stage. Be prepared to walk to and from the Lyric Opera. Train tickets and lunch are on your own.

Offered cooperatively with Batavia and Geneva Park Districts for ages 50 and up. The registration deadline is December 12.

Depart from the Pottawatomie Community Center at 10:15 a.m.
