St. Charles joins the fight against heart disease in women at the Breakfast in Red event on Thursday, May 7
Women from Kane County and the men who love them will join the fight against heart disease in women at the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Breakfast in Red on Thursday, May 7 at Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Ill. The breakfast is the signature fundraising event of Kane County’s Go Red for Women campaign, which raises awareness of women’s no. 1 killer, heart disease. The event will be hosted by Laura Schwartz, founder of White House Strategies and author of “Eat, Drink and Succeed.” Tickets for the event are $100 each and may be purchased at www.SuburbanChicagoGoRed.org.
St. Charles’ Breakfast in Red kicks off at 8 a.m. with registration and an opportunity to network with other guests. The breakfast will begin at 9 a.m., and the program will include a town hall-style question and answer session featuring physicians and other healthcare professionals from Kane and DuPage counties.
