Fine Line Features Demos at St. Charles Fine Art Show

Live demonstrations of blacksmithing, copper, flamework, ceramics, painting, felting, weaving, metals clay and more will captivate and intrigue visitors at Fine Line Creative Arts Center’s booth, May 24 and 25, at the 16th Annual St. Charles Fine Art Show.

“The Downtown St. Charles Partnership invited us to participate in this year’s fine art show, and we’re very excited to do this, for our second year in a row,” said Fine Line director, Lynn Caldwell.

Last year, Fine Line’s booth -- actually a double booth -- featured weaving, spinning, and other demonstrations of textile classes offered at Fine Line. Caldwell said this year’s booth will feature “everything else.”

This demonstration booth is being sponsored once again by STC Capital Bank in St. Charles. Come check out the action on Riverside Dr., just north of the Illinois St. bridge.

More than 40 faculty and 1,200 students participate in 200 classes every year at Fine Line, learning and practicing the skills that provide the foundation for artistic expression. Check out classes, workshops, gallery events and more at fineline.org.

The St. Charles Fine Art Show is held rain or shine. For more information, visit www.stcharlesfineartshow.com.
