Fred Astaire Dance Studio Coming to St. Charles

A new dance studio is coming to St. Charles.

Jackie Grystak, and her husband, Evgenii, both professional dancers, will be opening a Fred Astaire dance studio in a corner location at the Foxboro Plaza where the former Beth Fowler School of Dance once operated, the Daily Herald reports. The couple is hoping to open the business on March 14.

Grystak formerly ran a Fred Astaire dance studio in Buffalo Grove with her dance partner, Jesse DeSoto, who performed during a season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars, according to the article.

There are currently seven Fred Astaire dance studios in the Chicago area, including studios in Burr Ridge, Mokena, South Barrington, Park Ridge and Northbrook.

The dance studios specialize in teaching individuals and couples of all ages how to dance. The studios specialize in all forms of partnership dance including Latin, ballroom, swing and salsa.
