St. Charles City Council ratifies appointment by Mayor Rogina.

Mayor Raymond Rogina’s appointment of a former city employee who has been a community activist and two-time City Council candidate to the St. Charles Historic Preservation Commission was ratified Monday by the City Council.
The council voted unanimously Monday night to ratify Kim Malay’s appointment to the historic preservation panel.
Twice a candidate to represent Ward 5 on the City Council, Malay has been a vocal advocate on a number of issues, including her efforts during the adoption of the city’s 2013 Comprehensive Plan.
