Man Arrested for Pointing Gun at Walmart Shopper: Police
The incident occurred at the Walmart in St. Charles on Halloween.

ST. CHARLES, IL — A man who allegedly pointed a gun at a person at Walmart on Halloween night is in custody, police said Saturday. Police say a person walking out of Walmart, 150 Smith St. in St. Charles, was approached by a man who displayed a black handgun.
The victim immediately ran back into the store, police said, and the armed man got into a vehicle that was parked in a handicapped stall nearby and drove south, exiting the lot.
Police released information regarding the incident and a photo of the suspect to the media. The man, whose name has not yet been released, was taken into custody within 24 hours, according to a news release from the St. Charles Police Department.
