Parent University: Let Your Kids Solve Their Own Problems

The program 'Parenting with Love and Logic' says that children who solve their own problems become more confident.

An upcoming District 303 parent education session will feature an educator who has spent 10 years advocating a philosophy that says children solving their own programs gain confidence.

The session, titled Parenting with Love and Logic, is scheduled for Oct. 18 at the school 201 S. 7th St.

Parenting with Love and Logic is a program "based on the philosophy that kids build confidence by solving their own problems," according to a District 303 press release.

"Parents are there to provide guidance, but also allow their children to learn decision-making by considering the natural consequences of their actions," the release continues.
