The findings showed a flawed review system for coaches and reports of hazing across different sports teams, according to an article in the Daily Herald. The article also points out the timing of the recent decision to remove East's head basketball coach and the sudden retirement of East Athletic Director Jerry Krieg.

An article in the Kane County Chronicle pointed to conclusions in the report that, while where supportive of the decision to remove head coach Brian Clodi, it identifies the public outcry as being based on a "lack of faith" in the decision-making process for the department. It also points out the district adminsitration's contention that the need for the report came from more than just that removal.
Include in the conclusion were references to hazing and bullying, two things district coaches and students will be trained on going forward, according to a TribLocal article.
