All You Need to Know About This Weekend's Scarecrow Fest in St. Charles

The festival will be held from Oct. 10 through 12 in downtown St. Charles.

Over 150 scarecrows will be on display this weekend during the 2014 Scarecrow Fest in downtown St. Charles.

The festival will get underway Friday morning and will continue through Sunday evening. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission to the festival is free.

Visitors can stroll through the displays of scarecrows and vote on their favorites in six different categories: mechanical, traditional, whimsical, St. Charles business category, children’s clubs and organizations category and family category. The Autumn on the Fox Arts and Crafts show will also take place during the festival and will be located at Pottawatomie Park, 8 North Avenue. The craft show will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, visit the Autumn on the Fox website.
