Sheryl & Tom Grace St. Charles' First Street Plaza
Partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions accent the music Friday night as the Downtown St. Charles Partnership's STC Live program continues.
Friday brought a break in the week’s hot weather that, despite the threat of scattered thunderstorms, held out for the fun, light harmony of The Sheryl and Tom Duet and Friends.
It was another Friday night for STC Live, the Downtown St. Charles Partnership’s effort to create more interest in and generate activity in the downtown area. STC Live brings live, free entertainment into the downtown area on Wednesday and Friday evenings, whether in First Street Plaza or at local businesses.
The Sheryl and Tom Duet and Friends performs in festival environments in the Illinois and Wisconsin area, and Friday’s performance at First Street Plaza marked the band’s return to St. Charles, after being featured at River Rockhouse for the St. Charles Fine Art Show.

The duet performs with bass player T.F. Holler and Robert Horn on keyboard and the blues harmonica.
The Sheryl and Tom Duet and Friends, which performed from 5 to 7 p.m., wasn’t the only show in downtown St. Charles on Friday.

The Magic of Arman Sangalang was there to excite children of all ages at from 5 to 6 p.m. at Sportiva, 113 E. Main St., which opened about a month ago.
At the same time, The Dub Steppers were on the lineup, but at Jeans & A Cute Top Shop, 161 S. 1st St.
From 7 to 8 p.m., self-professed “Tailgate Prophet” Russ Devereaux entertained at Biggby Coffee, 117 W. Main St.
