St. Charles Aldermen OK Funds For Dragon Boat Races

ST. CHARLES, IL — St. Charles aldermen on Monday voted in favor of supporting a funding request from the Pride of the Fox organization to use $22,000 in hotel/motel tax revenue from the city, which would help bring back dragon boat races this summer, according to the Daily Herald. The races are expected to take place at the Heart of the Fox fundraising event on June 13 and 14 at Pottawatomie Park.

The fundraising event is organized by the River Corridor Foundation of St. Charles and the St. Charles Kiwanis.
