St. Charles Area’s Jenny McCarthy Starts New Season Sept. 9 on 'The View'

The Tri-Cities' most prominent celebrity, Jenny McCarthy, kicks off a new season Sept. 9 on The View, as she joins the all-star cast that includes Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd and Barbara Walters.

People Magazine says McCarthy "fits right in" and predicts the daytime talk show will have "a promising (and silly!) season ahead."

People also notes that McCarthy is dating Donnie Wahlberg. The happy couple got together in July, according to People. Wasn't it just a year ago when she and Brian Urlacher were an item?

McCarthy decided to settle in Geneva in order to provide a happy, healthy place for her son, Evan, to grow up. And it's true. Geneva the best places to raise kids in the state of Illinois earlier this year. CNNMoney.com has named Batavia as one the top 100 best small towns in America and Family Circle names St. Charles the No. 1 place to live in 2011.
