ST. CHARLES, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in St. Charles continues to climb at a steady pace, with 20 confirmed since Saturday, public health data shows. The city’s total stands at 77 cases, as of Thursday.
The city’s 77 confirmed cases include 25 people 40 and under, including two teenagers, the data shows. No deaths in St. Charles have been linked to the coronavirus, as of Thursday, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

The number of confirmed cases continues to rise as testing capacity expands, with at least 10 testing sites now operating in Kane County.
The state of Illinois launched a drive-thru coronavirus testing site April 22 at the Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora that can collect up to 600 samples daily. VNA Health Care is offering free testing by appointment at its locations in Aurora, Elgin, Romeoville and Carol Stream.
