St. Charles East’s P-ARTS Variety Show Is Feb. 23
10th annual show benefits the performing and visual arts at St. Charles East High School.

St. Charles East High School will present its 10th annual P-ARTS Variety Show at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at .
Tickets at the door are $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.

The performers are East High students, from freshmen through seniors, whose ranks include a juggler, a magic act, ukulele players, the varsity drill team, and singers, dancers and instrumentalists of all genres. Many will present original compositions.
The P-ARTS Variety Show cast includes Berke Bearrick, Brynn Beveridge, Jessica Blakely, Emma and Annabelle Cuitino, Lexie El-Sherif, Allison Griffiths, Nadia and Mara Handler, Ashley Luoma, Rachel Martens, Kali McElroy, Grover Neville, Samantha Perez, Jon Recchia, Kaylee Riegler, Kelsie Roberton, Mary Alice Roach, Arman Sangalang, Sriya Siems and Becca Willaert. Emcees are Gianna Marchese and Erin Gautille.

This is the 10th year of the P-ARTS Variety Show, is a major fundraiser for P-ARTS, East High School’s arts advocacy and booster club, which supports the literary, visual and performing arts as a vital part of a quality education at East High School.
P-ARTS provides grants to the East High School Humanities Department and the Visiting Artists Program. It also offers scholarships for P-ARTS members to summer art camps, colleges and for a range of other activities. Christina Martens is in her second year as chairwoman. “I volunteered because my children, Jeremy and Rachel Martens, are very involved in the performing arts. I love watching them and other talented students perform. Also, I really wanted to carry on the tradition of the P-ARTS Variety Show.”
