St. Charles North Stars Drill Team Qualifies for Nationals

After a successful competition at the Universal Dance Association camp at Illinois State University last month, the St. Charles North Varsity Drill Teams qualified for nationals.

The two teams competed June 24-28. The varsity team earned a superior rating, which qualified them for the national competition set for January in Orlando, Fla.

Both St. Charles North teams also received a combined eight Spirit Stick Awards for continued enthusiasm shown throughout camp. Three Senior Varsity members were named UDA All-Stars, including Allie Isabelli, Monique Perdue and Michelle Vezina. Four Junior Varsity members also received All-Star recognition, including Kassi Ams, Nikki Arnold, Lexi Artman and Kaleigh Bull.

The Drill Teams are gearing up for the 2012-13 season and the 19th annual in September.
