St. Charles Patch Car-Cam: Main Street/Route 64
A rundown and a look at what's happening on the St. Charles East Main Street/Route 64 reconstruction project.
Clearer skies, warm weather and receding floodwaters are a recipe for construction to get back into full swing again on the nearly 3-year-old East Main Street/Route 64 reconstruction project.
Here’s a rundown from James Bernahl, the St. Charles Public Works engineering division manager, on what to expect (weather permitting):

Pavement removal is expected to continue between Keil Street and Powis Road, Bernahl's release states. Once the roadway has been removed the construction crews will continue with the storm sewer installation work, which is expected to be ongoing for the next two to three weeks.
