St. Charles Police Blotter: Warrant Arrest, DUI, Theft, Battery

TUESDAY, SEPT. 17, 2013
Warrant Arrest
Katherine A. Genge, 25, of the 1100 block of Watson Street, Aurora, was arrested at 7:49 p.m. in the 900 block of South Randall Road on a DuPage County warrant for possession of a controlled substance, and a Kane County warrant for failure to appear in court on a domestic battery charge. She was transported to the DuPage County Jail pending a court appearance.
Driving Under the Influence
Robert Michael Kavanaugh, 26, of the 500 block of South Lincoln, Aurora, was charged at 12:32 a.m. on the 1400 block of Riverside Avenue with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding-64 in a 35 mph zone, and illegal transportation of alcohol. Police saw a full-size pickup westbound on East Main Street turn on South 5th Avenue, nearly striking the curb and then taking off at a high rate of speed and swerving. Police used radar to clock the truck at nearly 30 mph over the speed limit and stopped the vehicle. When police stopped him, the officer reported finding a flask containing an alcoholic beverage in Kavanaugh’s pocket. He posted his driver’s license and a $300 cash bond and was released pending an Oct. 10, 2013 court appearance.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 15, 2013
Police: Suspect Caught Removing Wheel
Stewart S. Parazaider, 29, of the 500 block of South 13th Avenue, was charged at 12:19 a.m. at Don McCue Chevrolet, 2015 E. Main St., with theft exceeding $500. Police came across Parazaider, dressed in dark-colored clothes, removing the fourth wheel from a Chevrolet Suburban in the parking lot. Police said the Suburban was sitting on landscape blocks. Parazaider was taken to the Kane County Jail pending a court appearance.

Battery
Myles Alan Negron, 24, of the 300 block of South 2nd Avenue, was charged at 4:58 a.m. at IHOP, 125 Smith Road, with battery. Police were called to the restaurant after Negron reportedly threw a glass at and struck one of the women with whom he was eating. The woman wanted to sign a complaint. He was released pending an Oct. 17, 2013 court appearance.

Battery: Insulting/Provoking Contact
Michael W. Fehrenbacher, 45, of the 500 block of Millview Drive, Batavia, was charged at 8 a.m. at 181 S. 1st St., with battery-insulting/provoking contact. He posted $150 cash bond and was released pending an Oct. 17, 2013 court appearance.
