St. Charles Police Make Arrests, Write Tickets During Holiday Detail
The results are in from the recent Labor Day traffic campaign.
ST. CHARLES, IL — The results are in from a recent holiday traffic detail in St. Charles.
Over the course of the weekend proceeding and including Labor Day, St. Charles Police Department officers were out in full force as part of a nationwide Click it or Ticket and Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over enforcement effort.
During the holiday details, St. Charles officers issued four tickets for seatbelt violations, 14 tickets for speeding, one citation for distracted driving and 11 additional citations for various offenses. Police also arrested two drivers for criminal-related offenses and one driver for driving without a valid license.

Police also wrote nine warning citations.
The Click It or Ticket/Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over mobilization was made possible with federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
