St. Charles Police Release Results From Holiday Traffic Campaign
The St. Charles Police Department conducted additional traffic enforcement during the week before Thanksgiving.
ST. CHARLES, IL — The St. Charles Police Department arrested one driver for drunken driving and issued five speeding tickets during a recent traffic enforcement campaign.
The police department released the results from its traffic enforcement campaign, which ran the week before Thanksgiving, this past week. According to St. Charles police, officers issued the following tickets and made the following arrests during the campaign:
- Five speeding citations
- 1 driving under the influence arrest
- 1 distracted driving citation
- 1 citation for driver not wearing their seat belt
- 6 citations for various other violations
- 8 additional warnings
The Click It or Ticket/Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over mobilization was made possible with federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
