St. Charles Week Ahead Weather: Winds To Calm Down
A windy first half of the week is expected to die down, providing some fairly calm weather on Thanksgiving Day.

ST. CHARLES, IL — This Thanksgiving week, we can expect the heavy winds to turn into relatively calm weather. Monday afternoon and evening, wind gusts may blow as hard as 30 mph.
Tuesday we can expect the heavy winds to die down by nighttime, calming down to light winds by Wednesday.
The rest of the week, including Thanksgiving, some clouds will block the sun, but the weather will be largely calm. High temperatures should be between 40 and 50 degrees throughout the week.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a temperature rising to near 42 by 10am, then falling to around 30 during the remainder of the day. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 20 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 21. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 35. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25.
Thanksgiving Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 41.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 29.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 51.
Friday Night: A slight chance of rain before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 38.
