Two other suspects have already been charged in the case. Megan Lino of Carpentersville and Ruby Gomez of Elgin remain in custody at the Kane County Jail on aggravated battery and kidnapping charges. Gomez is being held on a $350,000 bond and Lino is being held on a $150,000 bond.

Elgin police were called to the home on Raymond Street at about 6:55 a.m. on Feb. 27 for a report of a female who was being held against her will. They found the victim in the home with obvious signs of injury, according to an Elgin Police Department press release. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.

She told police she was at her home in the 500 block of Levine Court with her ex-boyfriend when four females entered the home and, with the help of her ex-boyfriend, forcibly removed her from the house. They are accused of putting her in a vehicle, beating her and then driving her to the Raymond Street home where the physical assaults continued, according to the news release.

The victim was then held in the home against her will, police said. There, the 19-year-old woman was beaten and burned with cigarettes on shoulders and back, according to the Daily Herald. Police have not said how long the victim was held against her will at the home and also have not released when she was kidnapped.
