Three More St. Charles Residents Make Deans’ Lists
Deans' lists honors at University of St. Francis and Hampden-Sydney College.

The University of St. Francis in Joliet has posted its dean's honor list for the fall 2012 semester, and the list include two local students — Kathleen Hayes and Ashley Winn, both of St. Charles.
Students who have attained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher at the end of the semester in which he or she has taken at least 12 credit hours are named to the dean's honor list.
The University of St. Francis in Joliet serves more than 3,600 students nationwide with 60 areas of undergraduate study, 14 graduate programs and four degree-completion programs. For more information about the University of St. Francis, visit www.stfrancis.edu.

Joey Heisley at Hampden-Sydney College
Joseph Aloysius Heisley II, a student at Hampden-Sydney College, was named to the dean's list for the fall semester of the 2012-13 academic year.
Joey is a graduate of Elgin Academy and is the son of Michael and Carolyn Heisley of St. Charles.

To earn this distinction, students must achieve at least a 3.3 semester grade point average out of a possible 4.0.
A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked in the top tier of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The college, located in Hampden-Sydney, Va., is known for its liberal arts curriculum, an honor code that stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the education of young men.
