Adult English Language Classes Offered
District 146 is offering free English Language Classes for anyone within their boundaries
District 146 is once again offering free adult English language classes to community members. The District is partnering with Governors State University to provide these virtual classes.
Two sessions will be held:
Fall session: September 28-November 23, 2026
Spring session: February 1-May 25, 2027

Each session, two levels will be offered. Participants will complete a pre-test to determine which course they will be enrolled in.
Beginner Level
Tuesday and Thursday, 9–10:15 a.m.

Intermediate/Advanced Level
Monday and Wednesday, 9–10:15 a.m.
Registration and pretesting for the fall session will be held on September 16 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the District Administration Center, 6611 W. 171st Street in Tinley Park.

These classes are paid for using funds from the District’s Federal ESL grants.
Community Consolidated School District 146 is comprised of Central Middle School, Fierke Education Center, Fulton School, Kruse Education Center, and Memorial School. Students from Tinley Park, Orland Park, and Oak Forest attend District 146 schools.
