With great sadness, the Tinley Park Public Library and the Board of Trustees announces the passing of Library Board Trustee Phyllis Ziarko on October 17.
A resident of Tinley Park, Ziarko had faithfully served on the Library Board since May 1993. She was a member of the Board who helped execute the move from the library’s old building to the new, state-of-the art facility in 2004. She most recently served as the Board’s secretary.
“Phyllis will be greatly missed,” said Administrator Rich Wolff. “She worked hard to provide excellent leadership to the library and community.” “We are extremely grateful for her service and extend our deepest condolences to her family.”
