Food, fun and entertainment will once again be featured at this year's Caribbean Beach Block party from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 17, on downtown Oak Park Avenue.
This year's Block Party will feature an appearance by former Chicago Blackhawks hockey star, Bobby Hull, from 2 to 6 p.m.
The popular event sponsored by the Village of Tinley Park's Main Street Commission offers live music on two stages, activities for the whole family, a mini-Taste of Tinley Park, and much more.

The schedule of musical entertainment is:
- North Stage: Noon to 3 p.m., the Walk-Ins; 4 to 7 p.m., Spoken Four
- South Stage: Noon to 3 p.m., Canary Blue; 4 to 7 p.m., Old Tapo Imi
A trolley will provide convenient transportation service from the 80th Avenue train station commuter lot to the Block Party from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. It will run every 15 minutes.
Motorists, residents and businesses in the area should be aware that Oak Park Avenue will be closed between 171st Street and Hickory Street from approximately 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
