
The Andrew High School Athletic Department will host the fourth Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Dinner on Monday, September 25, 2017 as a part of the 2017 Homecoming Week festivities. Two alumni athletes and one coach will be honored.
Brett Novosel, Class of 1990, was a three-sport athlete in football, swimming and track. He holds multiple school records in swimming and track and was All-Conference, All-Area in Football and All-State in Swimming and Track. Upon graduation he earned a swimming scholarship to the University of Illinois.
Nate Everhart, Class of 2006, was a two-sport in football and wrestling. He was All-Conference in Football, All-State/State Qualifier in wrestling (2005, 2006), IHSA Regional Champion in wrestling (2005), he placed 6th Place at 189 Pounds in 2005 and 3rd Place at 215 Pounds in 2006. Upon graduation, he earned a wrestling scholarship to Indiana University.

Sue Kramer will be honored as a Physical Education Teacher/Coach/Assistant Athletic Director. She began the Girls Cross-Country Program as a Volunteer Coach, served as Head Coach Girls Cross-Country Coach (1979-2005). She holds a Dual Meet Record 193-56, five Conference Titles, 3 Regional Titles, 5 Time State Qualifier, and is the second All-Time in IHSA Dual Meet Victories at one school. Kramer is the only female coach in the Top 15 for dual meet victories in Illinois. She was Head Girls Track and Field Coach (1979-1984), Assistant Track and Field Coach (2002-2008), and Assistant Athletic Director (1985-1995).
The induction ceremony will take place on Monday, September 25, in the main gym at Andrew High School. Doors open at 6:15 and dinner will begin at 7:00 PM. A catered buffet dinner and dessert table will be provided as well as coffee, iced tea and water. Tickets for this evening are $20 per person. Tickets can be purchased from the athletic office before September 17 or by calling the athletic office at 708-342-5839. Tickets will not be available at the door.
