Andrew High School nearly doubled its fundraising goal for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation on Friday. With a goal of $15,000, they raised $28,189.30, 31 students and staff members went bald to raise money for pediatric cancer research.
Sophomore Niki Waller was the top fundraiser bringing in more than $7,000. She was joined by seven other female shavees.
Stylists from Great Clips, Sports Clips and Amour Cheveux Hair Salon donated time to shave the 31 heads during the Andrew Fest assembly in the school’s main gym.
