Andrew's Truesdale Honored as Athlete of the Week
Senior Dan Truesdale turned in a solid performance on the mound as the Thunderbolts topped Hinsdale Central.
Even though it was cold outside, Andrew senior pitcher Dan Truesdale was hot on the mound. His performance during Monday's matchup against Hinsdale Central helped power the T-Bolts to a 6-4 victory.
For his effort, Truesdale is honored today as the Patch Athlete of the Week.
Truesdale pitched five innings in the T-Bolts' win over Hinsdale Centrdal. He allowed one run and struck out four. Although he wasn't credited officially with the win, his work put Andrew in position to top the Red Devils. And reliever Matt Biernat finished up with two scoreless innings in relief of Truesdale.
