CCTP Responds To Glotz, Thirion Leaving Party
A long Facebook post from Concerned Citizens for Tinley Park is critical of two of its former members.

TINLEY PARK, IL -- The Concerned Citizens for Tinley Park political party released a statement on Facebook last week in response to the announcement that Trustee Michael Glotz and Clerk Kristin Thirion were pulling out of the party.
The post, which was not signed by any individual, indicates that Glotz and Thirion leaving the party was "just the latest in a long line of political stunts they’ve orchestrated" since the two were elected earlier this year.

It further went on to boast about the "transparency" the village has seen in the last two years. Glotz and Thirion were both critical of Mayor Jacob Vandenberg and a perceived lack of transparency in their party departure announcement.
"Since 2015 this Board has taken the most aggressive steps in the history of this Village to increase transparency," the CCTP post, now pinned to the top of the page, reads. "Cameras have been turned on at every meeting, our FOIA system has been revamped, we’ve changed our committee structure to allow more public input, and we’ve bid out more contracts than ever before."
