Chase Bank Robbed In Tinley Park

TINLEY PARK, IL -- A bank was robbed in Tinley Park Friday afternoon, according to a source from the FBI. The FBI was en route to a reported robbery at the Chase Bank at 17151 Harlem Ave. shortly after 3 p.m., according to FBI Chicago Media Coordinator Garrett Croon.

The suspect is a black man who was wearing a black baseball cap, black shirt and black shorts at the time of the robbery. The robbery was first reported at 2:58 p.m., according to Croon.

It was not immediately known whether or not the suspect had a weapon. He was last seen running northbound on Harlem, Croon said.
