The Coleman Foundation to Match Donations During ILGive

The Coleman Foundation will match $175 for every online donation of $175 or more made through December 3, GivingTuesday.

Tinley Park, IL - Thanks to the generosity of The Coleman Foundation, St. Coletta’s of Illinois will receive a $175 match for each online donation of $175 or more that is received now through December 3, 2019, up to $10,000. In order to qualify for the match, donations must be made online. Donations can be made by visiting the St. Coletta’s of Illinois Foundation’s website at www.stcolettail.org or through St. Coletta’s of Illinois Foundation’s Facebook page. While online donations of $175 or more are matched, any donation amount helps those that we serve achieve their greatest potential.

ILGive, pronounced ‘I’ll Give’ is also referred to as GivingTuesday. It is a 24-hour national fundraising event that takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. ILGive is an initiative that was started as a way to increase awareness and visibility while raising money for non-profits within our communities. In order to maximize donations, The Coleman Foundation is matching donations for select organizations during the month of November through December 3, GivingTuesday.

St. Coletta’s of Illinois provides educational, residential and vocational programming that enriches the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With 22 Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILAs) throughout Cook and Will Counties, St. Coletta’s is home to over 160 participants where residents are encouraged to live as independently as possible. With assistance, residents take part in cooking, household chores, and daily living activities. St. Coletta’s also offers a vocational program that provides employment opportunities for over 180 adults in the community and at the St. Coletta’s workshop program. The Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. School provides educational, therapeutic, behavioral, and transitional services for children ages 3-22.
