District 146 Board Hits the Road

The District 146 Board of Education will be holding some of its meetings this year at its schools. The first traveling meeting will be Monday, September 9 at Fulton School in Tinley Park.

• “Our Board of Education suggested they hold some of their regular meetings across the District,” said Dr. Jeff Stawick, Superintendent. “This is a great way to assure all residents, including those who may not be able to travel to the Administration Center, have an opportunity to attend the Board meetings. It also gives our Board members another opportunity to spend some time in our newly constructed spaces. ”

Every other Board meeting will be held at one of the school buildings, with the others being held at the Administration Center. All meetings begin at 6 p.m. Here is a list of this year’s meetings and their location:

September 9, 2019- Fulton School, 6601 W. 171st Street, Tinley Park
October 15, 2019- Administration Center, 6611 W. 171st Street, Tinley Park
November 11, 2019- Fierke Education Center, 6535 W. Victoria Drive, Oak Forest
December 9, 2019- Administration Center, 6611 W. 171st Street, Tinley Park
January 13, 2020- Kruse Education Center, 7617 W. Hemlock Drive, Orland Park
February 10, 2020- Administration Center, 6611 W. 171st Street, Tinley Park
March 9, 2020- Memorial School, 6701 179th Street, Tinley Park
April 13, 2020- Administration Center, 6611 W. 171st Street, Tinley Park
May 11, 2020- Central Middle School, 18146 S. Oak Park Avenue, Tinley Park
June 1, 2020- Administration Center, 6611 W. 171st Street, Tinley Park

Community Consolidated School District 146 is comprised of Central Middle School, Fierke Education Center, Fulton School, Kruse Education Center, and Memorial School. Students from Tinley Park, Orland Park, and Oak Forest attend District 146 schools.
