It’s time for some warm weather and local arugula.

We can’t exactly count on the weather in Chicago, but at least we can look forward to the start of farmers market season in the Southland.

Sundays through October, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., southeast corner of 95th Street and Longwood Drive.

Evergreen Park
Thursdays through October, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Yukich Field, 89th and Kedzie Avenue.

Flossmoor
Market cancelled for 2015 season

FrankfortSundays through Oct. 25, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Held at Oak and Kansas Streets in downtown Frankfort. Summer hours (beginning June 7) change to 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; fall hours (beginning Sept. 13) change to 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Homewood
Saturdays May 23 through October 10, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Village Hall, 2020 Chestnut.

Mokena
Open-Air Market: Saturdays through Oct. 17, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Front Street Metra parking lot.

Mokena Community Market: Saturday through October 31, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., 10901 W. LaPorte Rd. (Mokena United Methodist Church).

New Lenox
