Forensic Science at Trinity Lutheran School

Jr. High Students at Trinity Discover Forensic Science

Televisions shows like NCIS, Bones, and Forensic Files came to life for these Trinity students when United States Postal Service forensics investigator, Paul Bottini, was their special guest science instructor. Over the course of two days the students learned about, handwriting, fingerprinting, foot/shoe print, blood splatter, collecting evidence, and different jobs in forensics.

When asked about the experience, Trinity student, Tim Regan, said "It's one thing to hear about crimes being prevented or solved, but it's another to realize how it's actually done."

The students were also fortunate enough to have Inspector Douyon come in and explain his job as a postal inspector.
