For the month of July, we provided Jersey Mike’s & Relay for Life with buttons/pins to help raise awareness during the New Lenox Relay for Life (July 9-11).
In more than 5,200 communities and 20 countries, Relay For Life events comprise the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Each Relay For Life event is special to its community, but the movement's true power lies in the combined commitment of thousands of participants, volunteers, and supporters to help the American Cancer Society save lives from cancer.
Relay for life is an organized, overnight community fundraising walk that is focused around bringing a community together to celebrate cancer survivors, support those currently fighting cancer, and to remember those who have passed. The American Cancer Society is making progress toward a world without cancer, but only with help and fundraising efforts like the Relay for Life can they finish the fight against the disease.
