Today six Foreign Exchange Students from Paris, France are being immersed in American education at Lincoln-Way East.

Today six Foreign Exchange Students from Paris, France are being immersed in American education at Lincoln-Way East. Each student has been paired with a Griffin student and will attend all their classes together so the French students can see differences between French and American schools.

The visit was coordinated by East parent Emily Meszaros, mother of freshman Ramona Meszaros, who has a passion for sharing cultures.
“This is a great opportunity to celebrate our differences and learn from others, a goal we have been working on as a school for the past few years,” said East Associate Principal Joe Skarbek.

The students have been stateside staying with local families for three weeks, touring Chicago and enjoying all America, and Frankfort, have to offer. Tonight they will even experience their first American high school football game as they attend East’s community night!
