Loyal Titan: U.S. Marine Sgt. O'Neil Flips Coin at Tinley Park Football Game

Sgt. Patrick O'Neil is back from his second duty tour overseas with the U.S. Marines. He was honored during a ceremony prior to Tinley Park's 56-52 victory over T.F. North.

On the 10-year anniversary of 9/11, many of the local high school officials organized tributes as part of football festivities on Friday night.

Tinley Park officials were no different.

The Titans had former student Patrick O'Neil handle opening-coin toss duties before a thrilling 56-52 victory over Thornton Fractional North. O'Neil, a Marine Corps sergeant, was back home after his second overseas tour.
