Men Drive Past Memorial School 3 Times in 10 Minutes, Give Teacher 'Harsh Glare'

The men were in a green SUV with a "jacked up" suspension, police said.

Two men repeatedly drove by Memorial Elementary School and shot a “harsh glare” at a teacher, police said.

The 34-year-old teacher reportedly told police she was assigned to “morning ingress” and noticed an “older model green Chevrolet sports utility vehicle with oversized tires, a high ‘jacked up’ suspension, and a makeshift bumper driving slowly past the school.”

Two men who appeared to be in their 20s were in the SUV, police said.

The teacher recalled how the “vehicle drove slowly past the school three times within ten minutes,” police said.

“The first time the vehicle drove past the school the vehicle drove extremely slow and the occupants were looking out their windows,” police said. “The second time the vehicle drove past the school the vehicle came to a complete stop on 179th Street. The third time the vehicle drove past the school the occupants gave (the teacher) a ‘harsh glare.’”

The teacher “will contact this department if she sees the vehicle again,” police said.
