The New Book Choosing Me Now Topic at PWN Wine and Words Oct. Event

Local author will be discussing new book at networking event in Oct.

Have you ever dreamed of writing a new story about yourself, determining the areas of your life you want to change? Kim Olver’s newest book, Choosing Me Now: Letting Go of What Doesn’t Work to Make Room For What Does, may be the guide you need to determine the life you want to lead. Olver will be discussing the book at the Professional Women’s Network (PWN) Wine and Words event on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at 6 p.m. The book discussion will take place at Flossmoor Station, Club Room, 1035 Sterling Ave., Flossmoor, Ill. The event is free for PWN members; guests are $10. Copies of the book will be available for sale at the event.

If you are ready to get to know yourself better and to align your actions with your values, this book is right for you. All of us want to hold our own compass and find our true path. During the Wine and Words event, Kim will discuss the major points of the book and help participants understand why taking care of themselves first is critical.

Kim Olver, M.S., LCPC, NCC, BCC, sums up the goal of her mission as helping people get along better with the important people in their lives, including themselves, at home and at work. She is a licensed clinical professional counselor, certified in Choice Theory and Reality Therapy and the author of award-winning bestseller, Secrets of Happy Couples and co-author of Leveraging Diversity at Work. She is the creator of Empowerment Parenting, a program used by Cook County Social Services. Olver is the creator of the Choice Coaching Program, and the founder and president of Coaching for Excellence, LLC.
