• Salina's is looking for multiple hardworking and reliable people to fill our open cook positions. Full and part time positions are available.
• Salina's can work around most school schedules so you can excel at school while still maintaining employment during the school year.
• Applicants must be able to keep up in a fast-paced work environment while delivering our standard of excellence for every customers order. You may need to operate several pieces of kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, grinders, stuffers, fryers, etc. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment at all times.
• Work as a team player as well as work on individual tasks at hand.
• Prepare associated catered items.
• Be able to read order ticket and prepare each item as described using our recipes and systems.
• Restock work stations.
• Have basic math skills. Have basic understanding of computers.
• Clean prep area, cooking surfaces and equipment.
• Lift up to 50 lb.
• Stress consistency in quality, service and food.
• Have fun while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Keep busy and accomplish assigned tasks.
• Remain committed to fellow staff and the company.
• Individual will have to take and pass the food and safety and sanitation course that is mandatory by the State of Illinois. The class is available online, it is approx. 1 hour long. Course passed before starting work or have an equivalent from the state.
• Must be 15 years of age or older. Must be able to work weekends.
