Scenes From The 2020 Tinley Park Irish Parade: Photos, Videos

TINLEY PARK, IL — Irish eyes were smiling in Tinley Park Sunday afternoon as several hundred descended upon Oak Park Avenue on a spring-like day to enjoy the 2020 version of the Tinley Park Irish Parade. Schools, youth groups, organizations, local businesses, civic organizations and more made up the parade lineup that made its way down Oak Park from 179th to 172nd Street in downtown Tinley Park.

As with all of the many Irish parades taking place this month in and around Chicagoland, bagpipers were a popular entry.

The Durbin's float brought some "South Side Irish" pride, playing the anthem that will no doubt be sung a number of times along Western Avenue for the South Side Irish Parade next weekend in Beverly/Morgan Park. Have a listen here to one of the most popular lines from the song:

In all, the parade had 83 entries according to village of Tinley Park Special Events Coordinator Vicki Sanchez.
