South Suburban Fish Fry Guide 2017

We asked and you answered. Our call out for fish fry information in the south suburbs of Chicago received several responses. So there should be no lack of options when seeking a place to mingle and enjoy some good fish on Fridays during Lent.

Here are all the submissions. Included are the names of the organizations, addresses, costs, hours and what makes each fish fry unique. The fish frys are listed in the order in which they were received.

Lincoln-Way East Music Boosters,

• This is the 11th year of our Fish Fry. It was carried over from Lincoln-Way North to Lincoln-Way East.
• We offer live entertainment each night from our musical groups at LWE, Hickory Creek Middle School and Summit Hill Junior High. All proceeds go to ALL Lincoln-Way East Music Programs.

Our Lady of Loretto Women's Guild,

St. Catherine of Alexandria,

Oak Lawn Park District,

• Great location and atmosphere with fireplace and $10 domestic buckets of beer.

St. Albert the Great,

• 4 to 7:30 p.m. After a year's hiatus,
• St. Albert's famous fish fry returns offering fish dinners, $11; shrimp dinners, $13; combo dinner, $12; lasagna dinners, $9; pasta dinner, $8; fish sandwich $5; kids dinner, $5; fries, $2.

VFW Post 2791,

• Children 5-12 yrs $5.00, We are an "all you can eat" fish fry.
• Serving 3 kinds of fish with chicken, tater tots, soup, salad and desert.

• Icelandic Cod hand breaded and deep fried golden brown or baked cod fillet available also. Other seafood available are shrimp dinners, Seafood combo which includes scallops.
