Sports Video Highlight Reel: Andrew Gymnastics Camp Turns Into a Tumble Party
Future gymnasts receive individual instruction from coach Allison Hack, enjoy the experience in three-week summer camp at Andrew.
Second-year coach Allison Hack led a three-week gymnastics camp at Andrew High School this summer. Boys and girls (grades 3-12) focused on individual skills such as tumbling, flexiblity and form as well as many different events, including balance beam, bars, floor and pommel horse.
Hack said the children had a great time learning new skills and getting a taste of what gymnastics is all about. With a smaller group of participants, she was able to give each student concentrated attention and instruction to help them become better gymnasts.
