Starting to Spring Clean? Donate children's items to Cradles to Crayons!

501(C)(3) Charity accepts children's items (clothing, shoes, books, school supplies, etc) for ages newborn to twelve. Free of charge to kids

Hi!
My name is Kayla Furjanic and I work with a 501 (C)(3) Nonprofit organization called Cradles to Crayons. While we are new to the Chicagoland area, we have locations in Boston & Philadelphia which serve over 80,000 children. Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth to age 12, living in low- income and homeless situations, with the essential items they need to thrive - at home, at school and at play. We supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need. We collect items such as clothes, shoes, coats, school supplies, baby materials, along with other items. These items are used to fill orders, which are placed by our partnered organizations, are packed by our dedicated volunteers and then picked up as a whole “Kid-Pack”.

We are looking for generous donors and spring cleaners who would like to donate new and used children’s items to our organization. I have attached a list of what we accept. Our permanent space is not yet open but we are still accepting donations! We have plenty of storage spaces around the city and suburbs and I am available to pick up donations that we accept every weekend. We administer tax receipts if the donor so chooses! We look forward to hearing from you soon and working to help the lives of Chicagoland children.

Feel free to check out our website below this post and do not hesitate to contact me with questions. Thank you!
