Alyssa Espano, from Christian Hills School is off to Washington D.C.!! Her journey began early in December when Alyssa placed first in her class spelling bee. From there, she went to the ACSI Spelling Bee in Kenosha, WI, where she placed 1st in her grade level and 2nd in the 5th -8th grade spell off. Because of her place in the spell off, she was invited to Indian Wesleyan College to compete in a Regional Spelling Bee where she took 1st place overall!! Alyssa is now off to Washington D.C. to compete nationally!! The bee will take place in Washington DC on May 4th and 5th. We want to give our congratulations to Alyssa for all her hard work!! Way to go, Alyssa!!
