Kai has been a tremendous homeschool student. Prior to kindergarten, he took a homeschool placement test and was advanced to second grade. Now in his third year of homeschooling, as a seven-year-old, he is earning straight A’s in all of his coursework, including fourth-grade math, science, English grammar, and Latin. He is particularly adept at Latin and has memorized countless prayers and recitations in the language. Additionally, he is very involved in theater; in his first play, he took on the lead male role at age 6 and subsequently played Kris Kringle in Miracle on 34th Street. Musically, he plays piano and has performed several solo pieces at our local church. He loves music and is looking forward to mastering several instruments and one day performing in marching bands. He is semi-fluent in Spanish and regularly has conversations in Spanish with his grandparents.

What three words best describe your star student?

Kind, well-rounded, inquisitive.
