Tinley Park Cops Increase Patrols in Residential Neighborhoods

A recent string of residential burglaries has the Tinley Park Police Department adding officers in neighborhoods.

TINLEY PARK, IL - The Tinley Park Police Department has begun to take action after numerous recent reports of residential burglaries in the village.

There will be increased staffing and patrols in residential neighbors as a result of the uptick in crimes, Police Chief Steve Neubauer indicated Wednesday in a statement.

“As a reminder, residential burglaries can happen at any time, day or night.,” Neubauer wrote in a message shared by the village of Tinley Park on Facebook. “The police department asks all residents to lock their homes, garages and vehicles, and to call 911 to report suspicious people or circumstances.”
